photographic volunteer at dpa, Hamburg

emigrated to South Africa. Freelanced as photographer. Became Picture Editor, Head of the Photographic Department & Art Designer on Drum Magazine, Johannesburg (Südafrika/South Africa). Also freelanced for Time Life, Black Star & Der Stern

1959–64

freelanced and worked on staff at Sunday Times

1964

moved to London (UK)

1968

moved to Spain/Spanien

1972

returned to London (UK)

1979

taught a three month course at The New School, New York (USA)

1980

taught at the Kunsthochschule, Hamburg 1980-84 freelanced as photographer in London (UK) and Germany

1984/85

freelanced, film projects in France/Frankreich
